Masoterapy

Massage therapy is a fundamental therapeutic approach that uses clinical massage to treat disorders of the neuromuscular and circulatory systems. By applying controlled pressure, kneading, and friction to the affected areas, we achieve an immediate increase in local blood flow and lymphatic drainage. This increase in microcirculation accelerates the delivery of oxygen and essential nutrients to fatigued or damaged muscle fibers, facilitating the elimination of metabolic waste and drastically reducing inflammation and tissue edema.
From a mechanical and reflex perspective, massage therapy acts directly on soft tissue to restore its elasticity and natural properties. It is the ideal tool for combating muscle overload, normalizing hypertonic tone caused by daily stress, and deactivating myofascial trigger points (common muscle contractions). By passively and analytically stretching shortened fibers, we release adhesions between different muscle layers, breaking the cycle of stiffness and restoring a feeling of lightness and comfort to the patient’s daily movements.

We understand massage therapy as a treatment that combines mechanical relief with a powerful regulatory effect on the central nervous system. Tactile stimuli applied to the skin travel at high speed to the brain, blocking the arrival of pain signals and stimulating the release of endorphins and serotonin. This analgesic and sedative effect reduces psychophysical stress, relaxes the mind, and decreases reflexive muscle tension, making therapeutic massage the perfect prelude to combining it with joint techniques or active rehabilitation exercises.
